My supervision philosophy

Are you in search of a supervisor you can trust to hold you accountable? One that will mentor you taking into account all your hard work, sacrifice, and energy you have invested into becoming a mental health professional? Maybe you are looking for a supervisor who can gently but consistently help push you "past your growth edges".

The systemic models I mostly lean on are trauma-informed intergenerational theories, Trust-based Relational Intervention (TBRI), family constellation work, expressive arts, solution-focused, Mental Research Institute (MRI), structural, and strategic (Milan) approaches.

I pride myself on seeing my supervisees as people first within the context of their communities. I work with you on acknowledging and transforming family-of-origin patterns, strengths, and potential, as well as on enhancing your professional network and support system.

You are in the right place if you are looking for a supervisor who can help guide you, support you, and inspire you as you work with children, teens, adults, and their relational systems in Juvenile Drug Court, Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health Community Clinics, Pre-Diversion Programs, Inpatient Psychiatric Units, and Residential Treatment Centers. I have over 15 years of experience working within all these settings.

From 2016 to 2022, I served as the Clinical Director at a Residential Treatment Program for females (12-17 years old).
